Revenue Strategy Manager – 12 months

Your Impact

Reporting into the Senior Revenue Manager, CUB, the Revenue Strategy Manager is a newly created role that will co-develop the revenue management strategy to create revenue growth. You will partner with the CUB Commercial functions to drive growth opportunities, focus on improving promotional optimisation, and provide the commercial team with recommendations to best utilise our investment, consumer demand, and optimum financial outcomes for our business and our customers across the portfolio.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract to start.

Key Responsibilities

Develop revenue management strategy for CUB to deliver incremental revenue growth via:

  • Partnering with Marketing to develop brand price architecture strategy based on category segments to create clear partitions
  • Partnering with Category to identify/discriminate channel offers via differentiated packs/offers and lead financial modelling to assess feasibility in 2way P&L
  • Collaborate with Revenue planners on new promotional mechanics to drive incremental revenue and provide selling story to sales team to help land during JBP
  • Own the price planning process for components of the CUB /PB for the 1YP & MTP updates
  • Partner with Sales to lead revenue and margin optimization (across price, volume and mix)
  • Complete ad-hoc analysis on key price performance issues including recommendations
  • Helps develop and maintain a playbook for revenue analytics and embeds across the business.
  • Embeds revenue management capability across the business including skills, systems, processes to optimize investment.

About You

You are financially astute, strategically savvy, know how to build rapport across the business, and thrive off of being able to identify a gap in the market and recommend tangible solutions. You also have:

  • Proven experience in Commercial Finance, Revenue Management, or Sales
  • Experience in pricing management and customer investment strategies to drive profitable revenue growth
  • Ability to identify strategic opportunities for the business unit and translate this into actionable recommendation
  • Ability to communicate at relatively senior levels of the organization and ability to share learning and teach others
  • Able to demonstrable influencing skills at relatively senior levels of the organization & working cross functionally
  • Strong analytical skills and development of insights and recommendations for action
