Your Impact

Fantastic and rare opportunity to lead the Connections team of approximately 60 people. This team is comprised of Consumer Data, Analytics & Audience Curation, Digital Marketing, Strategy & Culture, Creative & Content, Media & Partnerships, underpinned by Operations.

This team is responsible for problem definition and solution design for a broad range of briefs and commercial challenges with executions spanning campaigns, content, experiential, digital, ambassadors, digital/tech solutions – and more! Your consumer centric mindset and demonstrated ability to create shared vision, will inspire collaboration and drive change with momentum.

 

Other Key Responsibilities Include

  • Understanding Deliver the 3-year Consumer Connections strategy and roadmap, embedding new and existing capability to build and deepen relationships with the modern consumer
  • Develop integrated communications and consumer connection strategies for brands. This role owns designing the detailed strategies, with contributions from each sub segment in the Consumer Connections team with input from the teams deep experts
  • Oversee the roadmap and business case for the Consumer MarTech stack, providing strategic guidance on the most effective technology platforms to drive value return and efficiency through automation
  • Lead and drive the portfolio media strategy, budget and investment principles
  • Lead the Consumer Data Strategy, enabling acquisition, generation and utilization of 1st party data, creating competitive advantage and lift in commercial performance through data
  • Develop sophisticated segmentation and audience strategies leveraging owned and third-party data
  • Lead digital marketing transformation, shifting from digital complacency to the active pursuit of digital excellence through the proper usage and optimization of digital channels and the consumer journey
  • Inspire the team to adopt new trends and cultural shifts to enable relevancy at scale for our brands
  • Maintain effective management of total Consumer Connections budget, partnering with Sponsorship & Media team to deliver on overall growth targets and P&L

 

About You

You’re an inspiring and innovative commercial leader who is highly digitally literate. You have exceptional understanding of market and consumer trends with best-in-class experience in defining what an effective Consumer Connections function is able to deliver.

In addition, you have:

  • Previous Commercial Business degree with Masters qualifications (desirable)
  • Significant commercial/business experience leading large teams
  • Deep expert in Agency and Sponsorship bodies, how we work with, how we achieve best results, how we utilise them as true business partners
  • A strong background in integrated marketing, data & analytics techniques, consumer strategy, human-centered design methodologies, commercial acumen & strategic partner management
  • The ability to synthesize and execute against complex problems acting with an entrepreneurial mindset
