Your Impact

As a Workshop Assistant and Refurbisher at our state-of-the-art Welshpool workshop, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for ensuring that our equipment exceeds the expectations of our customers. This is a varied role with many responsibilities and moving parts, the successful individual will need to demonstrate their ability to work in this type of environment. Key responsibilities include

  • Ensuring our cold drink equipment is refurbished/cleaned to a high standard for our customers
  • Managing the incoming and outgoing equipment to and from the workshop in a timely manner
  • Working in the stores and coordinating required parts for your work, the technicians and management of inventory.
  • Ensuring that the workshop is kept clean and tidy and free from all hazards including the disposal of equipment where required
  • Implementing corrective actions to resolve any ad-hoc issues and focusing on continuous improvement within the workshop
  • Managing your own workload for the day with the ability to jump between tasks as required, there is always something to do, you will take the initiative to complete these tasks of your own accord
  • Escalation of any issues outside of your scope to the appropriate team members
  • Assisting the wider team where required in order to meet demands

About you

  • You are a natural problem solver and aim to rectify any issues as they arise
  • You quickly adapt to changing situations and have a natural ability to prioritise tasks
  • You possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to deal with a diverse range of people, from our staff through to external suppliers
  • You’re naturally curious and have an interest in all things mechanical with a willingness to learn
  • You are comfortable with the use of basic hand and power tools
  • You have the ability to work well in a team environment and independently
  • You are passionate about safety, ensuring that not only yourself but that those around you are operating in a safe manner. If you see something, say or do something
  • You are detail oriented and possess a high level of organisational skills
  • You are computer savvy (experience with SAP highly regarded, however, if you can learn, we can train)
