Your Impact

This 24-month contract role will report to the Head of Transformation and will be responsible for leading various Supply Chain transformation initiatives, enabling ABNZ Supply Chain to be future ready and best in class!

 

You will collaborate cross functionally across Supply Chain and Commercial to plan, deploy and manage NZ Supply Chain’s key transformation initiatives. Additionally, you will drive improvement across numerous teams within Supply Chain and supporting the required change outside of Supply Chain to achieve the ABNZ Transformation agenda within the Mid Term Plan.  

  

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for planning, delivering and governing a program of initiatives defined within the ABNZ Supply Chain Transformation Agenda
  • Partner with the Commercial teams to ensure Supply Chain inputs/considerations are factored into the various transformation initiatives being deployed in NZ
  • Partner with the Change Business Partner to ensure all people/culture related change has been considered, planned and successfully managed via transformation initiatives
  • Instill good project management skills in each initiative lead that executes key initiatives so that it is delivered to budget, on time and of quality
  • Represent Supply Chain Transformation at various Transformation forums and manage various stakeholder groups within NZ and Australia including executives, senior leaders, operational leaders, customers and suppliers
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture that focuses on reducing and eliminating loss and waste across Asahi’s Supply Chain activities and network

 

 

About You

We are seeking a strong leader with a business partner mindset driving to successful outcomes.  You are a continuous improvement professional with excellent commercial acumen and change management experience preferably in Supply Chain within a large FMCG organisation. Exceptional communication, influencing and senior stakeholder engagement skills will set you up for success in this role.

 

  • Degree qualifications in Management, Commerce, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related discipline
  • A demonstrated achievement of improvement & change in a traditional manufacturing / distribution and warehousing environment (this also includes people and culture change)
  • Qualifications in Continuous Improvement Systems (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) and Project Management
