We’re looking for a results-driven Commercial Applications Product Lead to support the stability and business impact of Asahi’s eCommerce platforms, focusing on Salesforce and SAP Commerce Cloud. In this key role, you will drive performance improvements, develop continuous enhancement plans, and support the company's ambitious transformation agenda. You’ll work closely with service partners, colleagues, and contractors to maximize the platforms’ value, provide governance oversight, refine technical designs, and support project transitions.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead operational support and technical oversight for Asahi’s eCommerce applications, ensuring availability and compliance with our policies and standards.
  • Proactively identify, recommend, and implement improvement initiatives, enhancing end-user experience and operational stability.
  • Drive performance of vendor-delivered services, providing a 24x7 level 3 escalation point and fostering a one team culture across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure Asahi’s software landscape is current, secure, and optimally patched, managing technical changes and capacity planning to support business growth.
  • Provide technical input on design, development standards, and solution architecture, supporting seamless project delivery and alignment with best practices.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors, business stakeholders, and IT teams, ensuring all technical standards are consistently upheld.

 

About You

 

  • ITIL Foundations Certificate and extensive experience with Salesforce and/or SAP Commerce Cloud;
  • 7+ years in a relevant role, including 3+ years as a Technical Lead within Salesforce or SAP Commerce Cloud/ Hybris environment preferably in an FMCG or retail environment.
  • Agile/DevOps knowledge is highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience supporting 24x7 high-availability environments, including vendor and SLA management for mission-critical applications, but does not require on-call availability.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical insights clearly.
  • Experience in CD/CI environments, with strong prioritisation, reporting, and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to foster cross-functional collaborations and drive a cohesive operational cadence across global teams.
