Partner closely with our Marketing and Partnerships team to maximise business profitability through analytical skills, business partnering and leadership skills for our Asahi Lifestyle Beverages (formerly Schweppes Australia).

 

Your impact

 

Reporting to the Finance Manager Marketing and Partnerships, you will partner closely with our Marketing team to influence and drive improved decision making for financial outcomes.

You will understand all key issues associated with ongoing category performance and partnerships trading performance, and develop recommendations to improve business outcomes.

 

 

Other key responsibilities include:

 

  • Support the Budget and Forecast for Category and Brand Performance, Direct Marketing Investment (DMI), New Product Development (NPD), Franchise Rebates, Marketing Indirects (Overheads), Capital Expenditure, and Balance Sheet.  Deliver timely and insightful commentary, transparency over any risks & opportunities, and actions on tracking to budgets and forecasts
  • Support the Integrated Business Planning process by providing relevant financial support and insights – specifically Portfolio Management Review and Demand Review Challenge and drive the delivery and financial performance of New Product Development
  • Support the Stage & Gate (NPD Process) through management of NPD financials, reporting and communication of innovation performance, development of hurdle rates, and financial management of capital requests
  • Support, challenge and drive the Mid Term Plan process via modelling agreed category growth rates on current performance and understanding baseline, NPD and Pipeline

 

About you

 

  • Bachelor degree in the accounting or finance field
  • Membership with CPA or CA preferred
  • Business partnering experience an FMCG environment
  • Demonstrated experience providing financial analysis and support to non-finance teams
  • Proven track record in driving change in a multi-faceted, commercially driven culture 
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Skilled at using Microsoft Office, Business Objects, and SAP
