Senior Finance Analyst – On-The-Go

In this 15-month contract, you will partner closely with our ‘On-the-Go’ sales team to provide support in the provision of financial results, analysis and insights for all aspects of the P&L and Balance Sheet for Asahi Lifestyle Beverages (formerly Schweppes Australia).

Your impact

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will partner closely with our ‘On-The-Go’ sales team in all matters relating to Financial Performance.

You will also influence key commercial decisions in line with Channel & Corporate Strategy and play a key role in the budgeting and forecasting processes.

You will provide financial governance, guidance and insights for customer negotiations, key drivers behind monthly financial results and ensure all Business Case modelling is structured in a financially sound format.

Other key responsibilities include

  • Work with the OTG Business Managers to develop assumption based financial forecasts aligned to business strategy, facilitate the monthly sales forecast, Integrated Business Plans, and quarterly & annual budgets processes.
  • Explore, Identify and coach sales teams in their understanding of the drivers of profitable growth and margin improvement
  • Leverage the efficiencies and learning between channels, states and customers in the management of net pricing, capital investment and sales overheads.
  • Develop reports to educate the Sales team to make key decisions and provide reports to equip senior stakeholders with accurate knowledge to present to the wider business.
  • Champion the Finance Business Partner role in adhoc Commercial projects as the need may arise from time to time.

 About you

  • Business partnering experience with sales teams in an FMCG environment
  • Demonstrated experience providing financial analysis and support to non-finance teams
  • Excellent process improvement capability and an analytical mind
  • Proven track record in driving change in a multi-faceted, commercially driven culture
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications mandatory, CA/CPA desirable
  • Advance skills in Microsoft office and SAP desirable
