About the role

Reporting to the Head of Insights, the Insights Manager will be responsible for using multiple data sources to generate, interpret and deliver relevant and actionable insights within our water and lifestyle beverage categories across the Asahi Lifestyle Beverages business. The role is responsible for embedding these insights into our commercial decision making and developing consumer and shopper-led opportunities internally with marketing and sales for discussion with our customers. Key beverage categories include water, sports drinks, cordial, juice and iced tea across grocery and on-the-go (route, convenience) channels. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Champion consumer and shopper understanding across water and lifestyle beverage categories in the commercial team
  • Analyse and distil a wide range of information across consumer, shopper and market data to develop actionable and relevant insights to lead strategic and tactical decision making
  • Lead insights input into the annual category & brand planning processes
  • Analyse and evaluate specific brand initiatives and NPD launches to provide guidance to brand plan development and execution     
  • Responsible for bespoke research management - full end to end management of consumer and shopper research
  • Ensure continuous development of brand health and market tracking to lead and adapt strategy


About you

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role ideally within a consumer goods or retail environment
  • Strong commercial analysis and modelling skills
  • Expertise in consumer and shopper research
  • Knowledge of market data analysis (e.g. Nielsen/IRi Aztec)
  • High levels of resilience and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confidence presenting insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline such as marketing, mathematics or statistics.
