The opportunity

In the role of General Manager – Group Growth and Efficiency Projects and reporting to our Group Chief Operating Officer, you will develop and implement our optimisation and strategic investment strategy across Asahi Beverages, while driving realisation of our mid-term plan through managing and driving cross-functional initiatives.  

You will partner with our most senior stakeholders to review our operating model, providing the insight and recommendations required to achieve competitive advantage.

Other key responsibilities include

  • Deliver optimal investment recommendations which focus on growth, efficiency, and optimisation across Australia and New Zealand and determine an optimal mix for reallocation of investment;
  • Drive the optimization agenda and recommend strategies to achieve greater revenue growth by reviewing promotional frequency and efficiency of promotional programmes and effectiveness;
  • Review opportunities to drive efficiencies in our total supply chain network;
  • Champion new and innovative ways of using technology, process simplification and optimisation;
  • Drive transformational improvements within the Group, through implementing and utilising systems, tools and enablers.

 

About you

You are highly experienced in an integrated Commercial and Supply Chain environment within FMCG or the Beverage industry.  

In addition, we are seeking:

  • Extensive experience in business and financial analysis to enable effective decision making
  • Strong strategic mindset to manage Group vision and purpose.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to assess financial implications of decisions and recommendations
  • Extensive experience in a strategic finance/commercial role, partnering with senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in change management
  • Experience in influencing and driving cross functional teams
  • An impeccable communicator, with strong leadership capabilities.
