Your Impact

Reporting to the Finance Manager – Independents, you’ll take responsibility for all areas of planning, reporting and analytics, partnering closely with the National On-Premise Group Business Manager and wider On-Premise Sales Team (alcohol and non-alcohol).

 

Engaging your ability to tell a story with numbers and build key business relationships, you’ll utilise your analytical expertise to influence decision making, identifying opportunities and ensuring the team achieve yearly budget targets and financial commitments.

 

Caught your attention so far? Other key responsibilities include:

  • Monthly/weekly reporting and analysis, calling out key opportunities and challenges
  • Investment management and analysis of both existing business and future opportunities
  • Managing the contract review process, including financial analysis and review of new business opportunities
  • Proactively driving the On-Premise agenda, identifying opportunities for growth and mitigating risk
  • Contributing to the IBP and budget process by supporting in the delivery of a reliable demand plan and owning a robust financial forecast

Commercially astute with a passion for delivering insights and a proactive approach to your role, you’ll relish the opportunity to cement yourself as an expert within the team. With a strong background in financial management/analysis, you’ll be confident challenging and transforming thinking, methods and processes and be able to confidently adapt your style to suit the audience.

 

Sound like you? Other key skills you’ll bring to the table include:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Business or relevant field and/or CA/CPA/CIMA accreditation
  • 5+ years’ experience in accounting and/or commercial roles within a complex business environment – alcohol or FMCG experience highly advantageous
  • Strong excel experience as well as computer literacy across the MO Suite
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and proactively identify opportunities to innovate
