Your Impact

Taking the lead for our site Maintenance Store, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the cost effectiveness and availability of critical and requested parts required for planned maintenance and breakdowns.

 

From cycle counting, requesting new stock, liaising with vendors/suppliers and managing access to critical spares, you’ll relish the opportunity to work with a broad range of internal customers as you take charge for the site.

 

Sound like you so far? Other key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with the Maintenance team to ensure all parts are ordered & available as required
  • Contributing to and engaging with the reliability plan to ensure maximum plant reliability/efficiency
  • Kitting of spare parts  for repairs and preventative maintenance of all site plant and equipment
  • Reviewing re-order levels of fast moving stocks and update materials master data as required
  • Receiving inwards goods to the maintenance stores and processing the return of incorrect stock
  • Creating new SAP stock items in the store and establishing procedures for parts location & issuance
  • Maintaining a continuous improvement plan for the area, including safety, housekeeping and 5S.

 

About You

We’re looking for mechanically minded individuals with strong attention to detail and a passion for organisation. With prior experience within a mechanical, engineering or trade environment, you’ll have a keen eye for part identification and be well versed in managing stores.

 

Other key things we’re looking for include:

  • Prior inventory/parts management experience, including a strong understanding of computerised maintenance systems
  • Impeccable communication skills, enabling you to build relationships with a variety of customers
  • Manufacturing experience within a fast-paced industry, FMCG experience would be an advantage but is not required
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supporting a change process would also be an advantage
