About the role

With ownership of the Independent Liquor client base across Nelson, Golden Bay and the West Coast, no day in the field will be the same! Working closely with a range of new and existing clients, you’ll utilise your sales expertise and interpersonal savvy to partner with key customers, determining both present and future needs and aligning your proposal of suitable products and beverage solutions. Given the breadth of the territory there will be some overnight travel involved with up to 3 overnights per month.


Sound like you so far? Other key responsibilities include:

  • Growing your account base through your monthly call plan and capitalising on local market opportunities
  • Negotiating sales agreements, on shelf positioning and new product ranging
  • Merchandising and activating critical promotional plans with customers
  • Driving sales and achieving budgets for distribution targets


About you

We’re on the lookout for ambitious sales professionals with a drive for success and the commercial know how to get them there. As someone hungry for a challenge and with a great eye for business development, you’ll be eager to hit the ground running and get some quick wins under your belt.

  • Demonstrated FMCG sales experience, with on premise and grocery liquor expertise highly regarded
