About the Position
You will be responsible for the key pillars of: Quality, Safety, Environment and Training, you will be involved in developing and managing a change program that drives a quality culture aligned with the national strategy. You will aim to continually improve environment, health and safety performance across the Site and be responsible for driving compliance to meet all regulatory, customer and company requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, coordinate, provide and continually improve effective training and assessment activities to build capability of employees & enable the business to meet customer commitments
  • Learning the daily operations of the site and become an active contributor across key activity areas: manufacturing, production scheduling, purchasing, storage and distribution
  • Manage internal and external audits in relation to quality and where required implement corrective actions
  • Management /Custodian of quality and food safety systems and procedures (including FSSC 22000)
  • Ensure National/Site GMP Standards are managed and implemented to agreed National and site timeframes
  • Ensure non–conformance data is recorded, corrective action is taken and that relevant issues are escalated to the relevant departments
  • Ensure internal procedures, policies and other legal requirements are adhered to throughout the skilling and development process


About You

  • FMCG and Lean Manufacturing experience
  • Experience in Quality, EHS, Training, Leadership, Manufacturing or a relevant discipline
  • Qualifications in Auditing / Food Safety or associated discipline
  • Familiarity with AS4801and/or ISO14001 (or equivalent) preferred
  • Additional qualifications in Workplace Assessment & Training (Cert IV) will be highly regarded
