About the Opportunity   

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join us in the position of Third Party Logistics (3PL) Manager and support the success of our Customer Value Chain business.


Based at our site in Welshpool, WA you will connect and collaborate with key stakeholders to drive customer service excellence across our WA, SA and NT internal and 3PL sites. In this position you will play a key part of the regional management team, working together on current and future strategic plans as well as managing daily operations. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position where you will be focused on expediting outstanding customer service, increased cost reductions and continuous improvement initiatives inclusive across both the alcohol and non-alcohol businesses of the Asahi Beverages group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advance Internal and external customer engagement
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives across 3PL providers
  • Develop and and implement continuous improvement strategies for customer channels
  • Align tactical plans for region to centre led strategies for 3PL providers
  • Work together with 3PL stakeholders across the region to nurture effective 3PL partnerships
  • Ensure we boost our performance across customer service, quality, cost, delivery, safety, environment and motivation goals through an effective relationship with our 3PL providers
  • Influence change management within an advancing environment



About You

  • Extensive supply chain and logistics practice within the FMCG industry
  • Demonstrated experience working within a 3PL environment and / or with 3PL management delivering superior customer service
  • Advanced interpersonal skills which has facilitated a track record of relationship management success
  • Continuous Improvement experience (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Project Management skills)
  • Tender and contract management skills
  • A solid understanding of supply planning concepts
  • A tertiary qualification in supply chain is preferred
  • A  high level of attention to detail
