About the role

The Finance Analyst – International is responsible for working closely with internal stakeholders to prepare and analyse financial results including the provision of budgets, forecasts, financial analysis and reporting. This role acts as the commercial finance business partner across the International Sales and Marketing team with the overall objective of providing insightful support to the team in all areas of reporting and analytics, coupled with improving the overall effectiveness and efficiency of Commercial Reporting.  This position will be a six month fixed term contract based in South Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and support recommendations of go/no-go for new investment decisions and new product development
  • Develop a robust reporting framework with a focus on insights that meets performance and governance requirements
  • Business partnering the International Sales and Marketing Team on all Commercial Finance matters
  • Ensure policy compliance including forecasting and budgeting
  • Deliver performance tracking and insights with contribution to monthly business reviews
  • Advise on profit optimisation through delivering a robust pricing and product mix strategy
  • Ensure all monthly deadlines are met in line with the Finance calendar

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a large and complex environment
  • Tertiary qualifications within accounting or finance
  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
  • Advanced Excel skills and modelling capabilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical process improvement skills
