About the Role
Reporting in to the Distribution Centre Manager, you will be accountable to oversee a centralised team to manage the end to end customer order to delivery process at our site in Somerton.

Working with both internal and external stakeholders, you will play a part in driving the objective of being recognised by our customers as delivering excellence in service. Specifically, the role will be responsible for state based end to end Order fulfilment support, and Distribution administration, including, but not limited to; end of delivery shipment closure, POD reconciliation and archiving.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance to inventory and deployment policy is maintained
  • Investigation and follow-up all internal and external Logistics related customer complaints
  • Use of Continuous Improvement tools to help problem solve and improve quality performance
  • Assist with the coordination and administration for product withdrawals/recall activities
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure continuity of product quality/supply
  • Investigate reasons for customer returns, and coordinate corrective actions
  • Maintain daily and weekly team meeting processes – including team KPI reviews and action lists
  • Support and coordinate with site and state teams, special customer delivery queries and requests from Central Customer Delivery team


About you

  • Experience in Transport planning role or Customer support and administrative roles within a medium to large size organisation
  • Highly proficient in excel and Microsoft Office suite
  • Continuous Improvement experience would be highly advantageous
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Understanding of warehouse operations activities
  • Sound SAP knowledge would be advantageous
  • Ability to build customer relationships
  • Good work ethic
